Albert E. Levy Scientific Research Award
Recognizing Excellence in Scientific Research
The Albert E. Levy Scientific Research Award was established to recognize
outstanding scientific contributions by Emory faculty members. The award
is given annually “…to the faculty member(s) whose scientific research
has been published in a peer-reviewed journal and [is] judged by other
scientists to be the best published manuscript submitted in a competition
with other Emory faculty members.” Recipients are honored at a Levy Awards
Seminar, which includes presentation of the awards and a reception.

Eligibility:
Two awards are presented each year; one

to chemistry, physics, and the biological sciences.

selected scientists, will specifically consider the impact of the published
work in terms of its significance within, or contribution to, the field
of interest.
