The University Research Committee (URC), a standing committee of the Faculty Council, is responsible for awarding small research grants to full-time faculty of Emory University. The program is intended to support research and creative projects of faculty in fields for which there is little or no external funding or to explore new areas of research that are likely to attract outside support.

Certification Form

This is a required form for all URC applicants. ALL PI's and co-PI's must submit individual certification forms signed by their respective department chairs.

Course Release Form

If applicable, the Course Release form is only required of ECAS and Oxford applicants and must be signed by the applicant's department chair. Note: the URC neither approves nor determines the $ amount for course release. Please check with your department administration for this information.

This report is required only for recipients of a URC award. It is to be submitted within 30-days after the last day of the 12-month award cycle.
